Description
Sulfur and Potassium Liquid Fertilizer
This liquid fertilizer contains 13% Sulfur (S) and 7% Potassium (K). It significantly enhances plant resistance to fungal diseases, reducing the need for pesticide use. Sulfur deficiency is commonly observed in saline soils, and addressing this nutrient requirement through fertilizer application is recommended.
Sulfur plays a critical role in protein synthesis by contributing to the chemical structure of the amino acids cysteine and methionine. In saline and alkaline soils with high pH and low organic matter, sulfur acts as a soil conditioner. It aids in chlorophyll formation, activates certain enzymes, prevents nitrate accumulation, and supports sugar and starch production. Additionally, sulfur increases phosphorus solubility, reducing the need for phosphate fertilizers, making it a highly cost-effective product.
